Introducing The New Drift HD Camera

The thing about Drift is, they don't rush to catch up with the competition, they listen to feedback and always manage to get it right. This has been proven with the all new Drift HD. This camera record in true 1080p HD format at 30 frames per second, capturing clean, clear, stunning video suitable for putting your viewers right into the action seat. The Drift HD also has the capability to record in 720p at a range of frame speeds, 25, 30, 50 and 60. This is ideal for slow motion… because if you have even seen the kind of buttery smooth, slow motion footage 720p provides you with when filming at 60fps, you know exactly what I am talking about. In addition to this, the Drift HD also has the ability to take big, detailed 9 megapixel stills, perfect for action packed prints. The other beautiful thing about this camera is the fact that Drift has managed to pack in a whack of incredible features, while keeping everything that was awesome about the previous camera - while reducing the overall body by 25%. That is a pretty drastic improvement, making this camera sail to the top of many boys and girls wishlists.
Some of the awesome features are returning from the original HD170, but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. First off, we have the big, bright 1.5" LCD screen, perfect for preview and navigation. Secondly, Drift again includes the advantage of a nice, wide 170º lens, perfect for capturing the whole scene and on top of this it features quality, on-board sound. Speaking of sound, if you need a little boost, the Drift HD is equipped with an external microphone port - perfect for bringing your videos to that next level.
The Drift HD sports a built in HDMI output as well, this is handy for reviewing your raw footage right on your TV or computer screen, without having to transfer and convert files first. Another nice addition to this model is the replaceable lens, now if you crack your camera lens, the entire camera doesn't end up in the trash… it's just a minor setback with a quick fix.
Onto mounting, because let's face it, this is where the videographer's creativity runs wild… and Drift supports that outlet with their completely revamped mounts and mounting system. The Drift HD is completely capable of mounting to pretty much any surface, making it a fantastically versatile camera. Toss in the wireless remote and pump that creativity and professional quality, no matter where you are filming from.
This camera is the perfect balance of the old and new, reusing useful features from previous models, while adding new, exciting ones for a very competitive price. The Drift HD is the camera for anyone who is serious about POV action recording. Get the Drift HD and get out there.
